Hi, I’m Jot and I’m not. Jot is my pen name. I hope that’s not too confusing…for you or me. We’ll see. But for now the facts below are about the real me:
I’m the wife of a Southern Baptist pastor. Ironically, we don’t live in the south. Jesus is my Lord and my life belongs to Him because He chose to have mercy on me.
My husband and I have been married for twenty-two years. He wasn’t always a pastor. I’ve been a pastor’s wife for about fifteen years. It’s been interesting, sometimes hard, but God is good. We give God the glory for what He has done in us and our family.
My husband and I are the parents of three teenagers. They are creative and hard working kids. All too soon our children will be leaving the nest; that will be a difficult adjustment but the anticipation of grandchildren at some point in the future is a nice thing to contemplate.
My family and I enjoy camping and hiking in the summer. In the fall and winter we home school. Recently we put in a wood burning stove and we enjoy crowding around it in the morning to do our school work.
I recently published my urban fantasy The Vrykolakas Deviation and I’m working on book two: The Darkness Below in my Narcissus Legacy series.
Thanks for stopping by!
