Today is my anniversary. I have been married to my husband for twenty years! Wow! That sounds like such a long time, but it doesn’t feel like it has been that long.
I had originally planned on going out of town with him for dinner, but last week a frugality bug hit me when we were taking a friend who had been visiting with us back to the airport. I suggested, since we were already there, why don’t we just have our anniversary dinner now. So we did. And it was nice. But I knew when the actual day arrived I would regret it just a bit for not waiting for the actual day. And I do regret it just a bit, but not too much. It did save us some money by not having to buy extra gas.
Today is a busy day. We are going camping with our kids tomorrow. I have to pack the camper and try not to forget anything important like food or coffee. So off I go!
